We have been running Fairs for 8 years. Venues have included Greenwoods Hotel & Spa,Old Spitalfields Market,The Warren Golf & Country Club, plus a variety of Essex and Suffolk Halls. Some of our fairs have been running in the same venues for 8 years, such as Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow and The Old School, Long Melford. Due to new GDPR legislation we have removed details of all our past fairs as they include makers' details, some of which will now be out of date.

Directions & Parking:

Long Melford is a beautiful village which attracts many visitors from the UK, and further afield, who come to look round it's great shops, lovely surrounding countryside and historic attractions such as Melford Hall and Kentwell Hall.

The High Street (Hall Street) is full of old, historic buildings which house restaurants and pubs and a range of shops selling antiques, clothes, homewares and more.

The Old School is a lovely old building just at the end of Long Melford's High Street (Hall Street), opposite Melford Hall.

It has 4 rooms, which include a cafe area, and there is a free car park for the village literally a minutes walk away plus ample parking on the High Street as well. There is also sufficient parking at the Old School itself to accomodate all stallholders.


General Information:

With 40 stalls, this event will offer shoppers a wonderful choice of beautifully designed and handcrafted items. Whether you're looking for a wedding gift; a new ornament or well-designed practical item for the home and garden or a piece of quaility handmade jewellery.

Makers will be showcasing the latest in contemporary and vintage inspired handmade items including jewellery, clothes, bags, prints, soaps, cards, soft furnishings and home wares, pottery, wood-turning and much more.

Sandra Hall will be doing pottery demonstrations throughout the day.

Plum Fairy will be running the Tearoom.

I make vintage sack cloth and linen cushions. I also create zippered pouches and purses.

Mrs Button's Chocolates

Handmade, good quality choclates using the finest Belgian chocolate and ingredients.

Products include bars, sticks, buttons and decorate your own pizza and lollipop kits.

I also make a selection of seasonal and themed chocolates and produce a range of dairy/soy free choclates.


House of Walt

Limited edition handmade scarves with matching storage bags, available in three sizes.

I make quilts, bags and cushion covers. I also created wood-turned items such as pens.

I make a range of warm glass items.

Woodturned items which include a range of vases, bowls, fruit and dishes.

PM Art & Design

Drawings and oil painting prints including subjects such as animals and vehicles. I also have mugs with some designs on.

Wedding and special occasion fingerprint art and greetings cards are also avilable.

I make a variety of handcrafted ceramics inclusing tableware, homeware and gifts. All of my products are handmade and glazed by myself in my Suffolk studio.

Nanuk Jewellery

Nanuk Jewellery is a range of unique jewellery designed and hand made by Louise Farrow in Saffron Walden, Essex. 

I use mostly Art Clay silver and sterling silver in my work, along with intricate wire details and colourful semi-precious stones, pearls and beads.  I have also done some work in gold, and commissions in silver or gold are always welcome.

Cazza's Cards

My name is Carol Mitchell and I have been crafting for over 30 years. I started with cross stitch and knitting and moved on to card making about 10 years ago. I have been doing craft fairs, garden shows and dog shows with my cards all over Essex and just over the border into Suffolk for many years.

I enjoy making cards, and each one is different as I do not do two exactly the same. I enjoy the feedback from customers who contact me afterwards for bespoke orders.
