We have been running Fairs for 8 years. Venues have included Greenwoods Hotel & Spa,Old Spitalfields Market,The Warren Golf & Country Club, plus a variety of Essex and Suffolk Halls. Some of our fairs have been running in the same venues for 8 years, such as Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow and The Old School, Long Melford. Due to new GDPR legislation we have removed details of all our past fairs as they include makers' details, some of which will now be out of date.

General Information:

This event will be the ideal place to find the latest in contemporary and vintage style handmade items. With over 30 stalls on the day, there will be a wide range of items ideal for the summer months, from clothes and bags to jewellery and beauty products.

Visitors can also sit down and enjoy some delicious homemade cakes with a cup of tea, all served in lovely vintage crockery, courtesy of Plum Fairy who will be running the tearoom.

My name is Caroline Field and my business evolved this year. I concentrate on art work, with my first love being animals. This year's work will feature mainly horse pastel drawings, meticulously drawn over several days and even weeks. All prints are professionally mounted and the originals are professionally framed by a local company.

I also make lino printed bags and pin boardsm using my own designs on 100% cotton. This year features dogs with personality!

There will also be a selection of hand knitted items for sale.

Dapri Jewels

My name is Princess Ajani, and I am married with a lovely teenage son. I have always wanted to make jewellery and work with beads, so a few years ago this company was established.

I started with small designs, later moving on to more complicated styles of beaded jewellery. As I grew more confident, I began experimenting with world cultural styles, mixing African and European beads, using the finest beads ever.

All my pieces are beautifully handcrafted and very unique. Most of my beaded jewellery is custom made.

Skylark Designs was born in 2011 in Buntingford and specialises in eclectic and quirky handmade items including lampshades, cushions, quilts and soft toys made from designer and vintage fabrics with unusual contemporary pieces such as ipod and ipad or kindle covers in eyecatching prints.

Crochet items including bags, placemats and housewares are all lovingly created, sourced, and made by me and include lots of care and attention. All these items make ideal gifts for those people who like something a little different.

I am happy to accept commissions and most of my work is sourced through recommendations.
