Venues have included Greenwoods Hotel & Spa,Old Spitalfields Market,The Warren Golf & Country Club, plus a variety of Essex and Suffolk Halls. Some of our fairs have been running in the same venues for 8 years, such as Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow and The Old School, Long Melford. Due to new GDPR legislation we have removed details of all our past fairs as they include makers' details, some of which will now be out of date.

General Information:

This event will showcase a wide range of handmade items that are just perfect for Christmas gifts. This is the ideal place to find unique, well-designed handmade presents - if you are looking for something a bit different this Christmas then you'll be spoilt for choice with over 30 stalls to browse.

Visitors can also see Toni Peers from the Guild of Essex Craftsmen demonstrating Encaustic Art and creating wonderful images using molten wax.

Essex-based artist Ken Kempley who will be exhibiting his paintings in addition to demonstrating his work. Ken's less is more approach is largely influenced by his love of remote areas such as mountains, moor, wetland and estuaries and the desire to capture the light, atmosphere and drama found in such locations. Local artist, Mark Warboys, will also be selling his images of wildlife in the form of high quality limited edition, signed giclee prints.

Visitors can enjoy sumptious cakes and refreshing cups of tea, all served in vintage style crockery, in the Vintage Tearoom run by  Plum Fairy.

My name is Barbara and I create handcrafted greetings cards using a crossover of crafting methods gained from scrapbooking and from floristry. I like to use die cuts making my own paper embellishments especially flowers to create a 3 D effect rather than a flat card.

Each card is unique, it is actually hard to make 2 exactly the same!

It's not all pretty flower cards so the men don't need to feel left out!

Honeybee products are lovingly made in small batches using natural plant oils, pure essential oils and natural additives.  Honey and beeswax from our own hives are incorporated into many of the formulations.

My name is Carol Mitchell and I have been crafting for over 30 years. I started with cross stitch and knitting and moved on to card making about 10 years ago. I have been doing craft fairs, garden shows and dog shows with my cards all over Essex and just over the border into Suffolk for many years.

I enjoy making cards, and each one is different as I do not do two exactly the same. I enjoy the feedback from customers who contact me afterwards for bespoke order
