Cazza's Cards

My name is Carol Mitchell and I have been crafting for over 30 years. I started with cross stitch and knitting and moved on to card making about 10 years ago. I have been doing craft fairs, garden shows and dog shows with my cards all over Essex and just over the border into Suffolk for many years.

I enjoy making cards, and each one is different as I do not do two exactly the same. I enjoy the feedback from customers who contact me afterwards for bespoke orders.

Toots Totes

A mother and daughter team: Ruth (Toots Totes) creates unusual and unique fabric bags and Willa (Willa's Silks) paints a rainbow of stunning silk scarves. Both are willing to take commissions: If you see a bag you like but are yearning for a different fabric, trimmings or hardware to suit your own style, please ask. Likewise, if you need a scarf to complete an outfit we will be more than happy to produce your own unique blend of colour.

Yarnsmith

How things have changed since I bought www.yarnsmith.co.uk in 2008, when, almost on a whim, we travelled to London, packed the car with stock and headed back to set up the business from our spare bedroom.

We now have a purpose built studio in the garden; we have re-written and re-launched the website; every spare moment not running the shop is spent teaching, designing, demonstrating or talking yarn, every extra spare moment is spent knitting. What hasn’t changed is my passion for the craft – the indescribable joy and satisfaction I get from creating something totally unique out of scrumptious fibres and a series of knots!

My passion to share this love and pass it on to seasoned and novice knitters alike is what drives me so I hope that our web-site and creations inspire you to wield your needles afresh and continue the “knitting revolution!”
